I was very privileged to have sat with Nigel near the end of his life and read part of Tess of the d’ubervilles to him in a very bad West Country accent which sounded more Home Counties after a few drinks and got a lovely smile from him! He was a very special man whom our children also remembered with huge fondness and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him but he is now at peace. Great love Susie Tweed x
