Dear Nigel, It seems only too appropriate writing this while sitting in a cottage in the middle of the Suffolk countryside. I still have such memories of long hot summers spent camping in your garden (and sometimes inside when the rain set in!) during the apple picking season. Long conversations in the local pub about life and adventure which almost certainly provided inspiration for long stints exploring in Africa and Australia. I also remember with great fondness long walks from Bishop's cottage around the new forest with grandma and the dogs on Boxing Day, you were always so interested in what I was doing, asking about school, University and of course, my sport. Sorry my golf wasn't up to much when we played with Mark and Stuart in Wales, but the conversation was as engaging as always. You were always so full of humour, so much interest and so much kindness. You will be hugely missed and remain with us always. With all of our love, Russell, Emilie and Anya.
